The Role

As Training Manager, you'll lead our national team of trainers and assessors, a talented, passionate group dedicated to delivering an outstanding student experience. This isn't just about managing schedules or ticking boxes. It's about creating a culture where people thrive, processes run smoothly, and students feel supported to succeed from start to finish. Ideally you are located close to our campuses in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast or Hurstville in Sydney, so you can have a presence with local teams - open to candidates in other locations if the fit is right

You'll report to the Director of Operations and play a critical role in APC's continued growth by:

  • Inspiring and empowering people, leading a high-performing training team across multiple locations.
  • Shaping the student experience, driving engagement, progression, and completion rates.
  • Innovating delivery models, introducing fresh approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Keeping us industry-relevant by working with partners to ensure our training remains current, practical, and future-ready.
  • Overseeing performance and resources, balancing student outcomes, team wellbeing, and financial sustainability.

About You

You're an experienced training professional who's just as passionate about people as you are about process. A natural motivator, you know how to bring out the best in your team and create an environment where staff and students alike can excel.

You'll bring:

  • RTO/VET sector experience
  • Strong people leadership experience.
  • Confidence with technology and modern learning tools.
  • A track record of building accountability while inspiring trust.
  • Bonus points if you also have: a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and a background in paramedical or healthcare training.
