TradeWise Renovations is currently seeking a qualified Carpenter & Joiner to join our team on a full-time basis. We specialise in all aspects of Kitchen, Bathroom and Interior Renovations - Providing high quality results for our clients. We are looking for someone to join our small but growing team of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality craftsmanship and expertise to support our range of residential renovation projects.
What you'll be doing
A wide variety of tasks associated with all areas of the renovation process some of which include:
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials to construct, install, or repair structures and fixtures, such as frameworks, partitions, counters, and cabinetry
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the materials required and the methods of construction
- Operate power tools and hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, and joining wood and other materials
- Install finished woodwork and hardware, including doors, stairs, trim, and custom-built cabinetry
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project completion
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work environment
What we're looking for
- Completed formal trade qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
- We are seeking an experienced carpenter and joiner with experience in a similar role, preferably in the residential construction or renovation sector
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues on-site
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the broader project team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Must have Valid Manual Drivers Licence, Silica Awareness Training, Asbestos Training & White Card.
