Our client are a well-established civil contracting company with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across New South Wales. Specialising in bulk earthworks, road construction, and civil infrastructure, they work with both public and private sector clients, including government authorities and Tier 1 contractors.

Due to a growing pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced
Site Supervisor
to join the team and lead the delivery of major bulk earthworks packages on projects throughout the Greater Sydney region.

About the Role:

You will take charge of the day-to-day site operations, ensuring that bulk earthworks activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working closely with the Project Manager and Engineering team, you'll be responsible for managing subcontractors, supervising plant and labour, and maintaining quality and compliance on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate bulk earthworks operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope
  • Supervise site crews, subcontractors, and plant operators
  • Liaise with project engineers, managers, and clients to ensure alignment on program and quality expectations
  • Manage site safety, environmental compliance, and quality documentation
  • Conduct toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and site inductions
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries and progress reporting

About You:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory role on civil construction projects
  • Proven background in bulk earthworks (cut/fill, detailed excavation, GPS machinery, etc.)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Understanding of TfNSW specifications and standards is
    highly regarded
    but
    not essential
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documentation
  • Relevant qualifications in Civil Construction Supervision or equivalent
  • Current white card and driver's licence required
