Simmons Civil Contracting is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join the team on upcoming civil projects based out of Kemps Creek. This role will suit someone who is hands-on, safety-focused, and capable of leading small teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead on-site crews to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works
  • Support project supervisors and engineers with planning and execution
  • Monitor quality of works and adherence to project specifications
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with WHS requirements
  • Assist with plant, equipment, and materials coordination on-site

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Leading Hand in civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of site safety and quality standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams
  • White Card and relevant tickets/licences desirable
  • Must be able to pass a basic medical and drug & alcohol test
