The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil and Concrete Supervisor to join our project team. This position forms part of the Civil and Concrete Group / Wet Process Area and reports to the Wet Process Area Superintendent. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising civil earthworks and concrete works during the construction and early development phase of a copper processing operation.

You will work closely with project development, engineering, QA/QC, and contractor teams to ensure all civil and concrete activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and supervise all civil and concrete works, ensuring compliance with HSE policies and actively supporting safety management and continuous improvement.
- Monitor schedules with three-week look-ahead plans, provide daily and monthly progress reports, manage conflicts and delays, and assist with mitigating plans.
- Review contractor work plans, schedules, and detailed methods to ensure milestones are achieved and works comply with drawings, specifications, and QA/QC requirements.
- Work with QA specialists and Site Engineering to monitor quality, develop corrective actions, and manage deficiency lists to ensure completion of deficiencies.
- Ensure contractor documentation (permits, as-built drawings, procedures, etc.) is completed and maintained, while managing and directing employees to support delivery of duties.
- Support Performance Improvement Plans, safeguard assets, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- University degree in a related field, with at least 10 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry construction.
- Extensive experience in large-scale civil earthworks, concrete works, mining process facilities, roads, or heavy infrastructure projects, ideally in extreme weather locations.
- At least 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience in civil and concrete construction roles, with proven ability to manage subordinates and work across disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to work in international, multicultural, and cold climate environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, methods, productivity analysis, QA, and HSE procedures for civil and concrete works.
- Skilled in problem solving, conflict management, and handling multiple tasks under pressure with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Navisworks, AutoCAD viewer, and relevant construction discipline software.
- Fluent English with proven leadership and communication skills.
