About the role

Superior Civil & Earthworks Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly capable Site Supervisor to join our team in Bathurst, NSW. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations on site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing effective on-site leadership and supervision of construction teams to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met
  • Coordinating and scheduling work activities, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to keep projects on track
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise on site in a timely and efficient manner
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and address any concerns
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance construction processes and workflows

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) as a Site Supervisor or other senior construction role, preferably within the rail, civil or earthworks sectors
  • Proven ability to effectively lead, manage, and motivate construction teams to achieve project goals
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
