Park Ridge Licenced Post Office is looking for a junior member to cover weekday afternoon shifts. Minimum P2 (Green P) driver licence is required. This position is best suited for uni/high school junior.

Mail Assistant is responsible for parcel and mail filing, driving a van to pick up parcels from local customer, friendly and efficient parcel and mail collection service, maintaining and cleaning well-presented facilities for our valued customers.

The post office is a fully airconditioned, nearly-new, nice and neat retail shop located in a local shopping center of Park Ridge, a southern suburb of Brisbane.

About the job:

  • Current afternoon shifts 1-5pm, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • Days may be swapped or changed from time to time due to business and personnel needs. We preferred candidate that can be flexible to cover more shifts when is needed.

About the cadidate:

  • Good memory, attention to detail and be able to lift up to 16kg of mail or parcels regularly
  • Holds at least a P2 (Green P) driver license, able to drive a van safely
  • Flexible with working additional hours if requires
  • Willing to undertake a pre-employment national police checks
  • Able to legally work in Australia
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, team player and follows instructions
