We're seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our overall accounting functions and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

Position Overview:

As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle across the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective cash flow management. You will collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning that align with customer KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:


• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable including bank reconciliations.


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.


• Monitor cash flow and working capital to support business operations.


• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.


• Assist with payroll processing and statutory reporting obligations.


• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and reviews.


• Lead and mentor junior administration staff as required.


• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiencies.

Requirements:


• Proven experience in a senior accounts position, preferably in the building and construction industry.


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.


• Proficiency in Xero accounting software and advanced Excel skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.


• Relevant accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent) highly desirable.
