Hunter Manning has partnered with a leading WA business to support them in the search for an experienced Management Accountant for a temporary requirement with the view to becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with operational teams, you'll play a key role in managing financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and delivering insights that drive business performance. This is a dynamic role suited to a finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, business-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide commentary to management
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and process improvements

About You

You'll be a commercially minded finance professional with strong accounting skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

You will ideally have:

  • CPA or CA qualification (or progressing towards)
  • Proven experience in management accounting or commercial finance
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems (such as SAP, Pronto, Dynamics365)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business
