About Still Aware

Founded after the devastating loss of baby Alfie, Still Aware exists to end preventable stillbirth through awareness, education, and advocacy. Every day, six babies are stillborn in Australia. Our mission is to change that statistic by equipping families, clinicians, and communities with the knowledge and resources to protect babies and support families through safer pregnancies.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fundraising and Impact Lead
to help us grow our life-saving work. This is a part-time opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, developing partnerships, and driving meaningful impact.

The successful candidate will lead our fundraising strategy, expanding Still Aware's reach across 
philanthropic, corporate, and community sectors
. You will identify and secure major gifts, manage grant pipelines, and strengthen donor relationships to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs nationally.

Key Responsibilities

·       Develop and implement Still Aware's fundraising and partnership strategy.

·       Identify and cultivate relationships with high-value donors, philanthropic foundations, and corporate partners.

·       Prepare grant applications, funding proposals, and donor reports.

·       Work closely with the Head of Strategy and Operations diversify revenue streams and meet annual fundraising targets.

·       Oversee donor stewardship and engagement initiatives to build long-term relationships.

·       Represent Still Aware at community and corporate events to strengthen visibility and impact.

About You

·       Proven experience in fundraising, partnerships, or philanthropy (preferably within the not-for-profit or health sector).

·       Strong understanding of corporate sponsorships, grant writing, and donor relations.

·       Excellent communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.

·       Passionate about maternal and infant health, and driven to make a tangible difference in preventing stillbirth.

·       Self-motivated, collaborative, and values-aligned with our compassionate mission.
