ABOUT THE ROLE

R2S Medical & Emergency Response are seeking for a passionate Quality Assurance and Project Delivery Manager for our security division to review, analyse and implement leading quality standards and processes as well as drive continuous improvement across the division. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance, Project management and Security Risk Management expert to join the team out of our Brisbane office. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the Quality and Risk Management System at R2S Medical in the Security Division. You will be working alongside the security team to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO31000 requirements are met.

Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting the implementation of Quality and Risk Management activities, including auditing R2S Medical's systems, reviewing documents and processes and assisting with the implementation of the Risk Management framework. Additionally, you will work closely with the other division's General Managers, and Risk Officers to improve and maintain the overall Quality and Risk Management system. Through your contributions, you will help to ensure the business continues to provide high-quality services while minimising risks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quality systems for documentation, investigation, complaint, vendor qualification and KPIs across all functions within the security division in alignment with industry standards and best practice guideline.
  • Provide guidance and support for all quality and security risk related matters across the division.
  • Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement amongst all personnel who operate within the security division. Ensure that quality systems and decisions follow the regulatory requirements and foster a culture of strategic risk-based thinking and compliance.
  • Act as an auditor for security related activities conformance with established procedures and requirements of the company.
  • Direct supervision of the security division and QA department and act as delegate to Head of Quality when required.
  • Research and implement efficiencies wherever possible in the security division across all levels.
  • Ongoing project management and associated reporting.
  • Exercise due diligence by taking reasonable steps to acquire and keep up-to-date knowledge of Quality matters and ensuring information is provided to the relevant stakeholders in a timely way.
  • Assist with the ongoing certification of ISO9001 Quality Management Certification.
  • Provide Quality management expertise when required.
  • Assist in the development on R2S Medical's functional guidance documentation.
  • Assist in efficiency programs or process improvement initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders in all areas of the business to make process improvements.
  • Comply with Company values, policies, standards, and procedures covering elements such as security, quality, safety, risk management and the environment.

ABOUT YOU

Requirements

  • Security Risk Management related qualification (either Cert IV Security Risk Management or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of working knowledge and practical experience with quality principles across security, risk, and project management environments.
  • Expert knowledge of quality systems and expectations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail regarding documentation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Maritime Security experience.
  • Experience in and understanding of law enforcement.
  • Offshore (international) security and risk management experience in third world countries. Preferably have experience in South Africa and PNG.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a highly skilled team.
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using various software and platforms.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating teams, developing schedules, and managing multiple simultaneous programs.
  • Experience in implementing new or updated systems and operating requirements.
  • Proven ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and handle high-pressure environments to deliver results.
  • Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in problem-solving and staying up to date with industry trends.
  • Committed to safety, environmental protection, and delivering exceptional quality and service while seeking continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
