Based at Ottoway, this role presents as a rare opportunity to join our business and work as part of our wonderful Customer Service Team in a role that will be accountable for broad receptionist duties, providing key support to the wider customer service function and undergo internal training and development to take on other responsibilities.
Becks operates in the luxury retail goods industry, so the successful applicant will need to be reliable, impeccably presented, with high level communication capabilities, style, and an appreciation for the level of security and confidentiality expected by our clients and visitors.
The Role:
You will be joining a successful Team where your functional responsibilities will be to:
- Meet and greet clients and visitors
- Arrange and coordinate couriers - write up and send out freight
- Answer incoming calls and forward/direct as required
- Provide quotes to retail clients
- Accurately process orders, trade/approval stock and invoices
- Process products to meet QA and Order Reconciliations (Marking stock off reports)
- Monitor and control reception area
- Use initiative and problem solve
- Sorting, sending and distributing postal items
- Project the highest-level professional phone etiquette, friendly and personal interaction capabilities
- Process Eftpos payments and handle money
- Ensure orders are correctly prepared for despatch
To be successful in this position, the following skills and attributes are essential:
- Ability to work independently, prioritise demands and meet deadlines
- Be good at time management, multi-tasking/coordinating, organising and attention to detail
- Comfortable and confident with Microsoft suite of products
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in the written form
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the success of your Team
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy office environment
- Commitment, flexibility and adaptability
- Manage changing workflow requirements
- And of course, you are personable, caring, supportive, friendly, and a Team player
This position is suited for candidates who are available on a full-time basis.
Experience in the Jewellery/retail/fashion/luxury goods industry would be highly regarded but this is not essential as training will be provided.
Successful applicants will also be required to undertake a Police Clearance as part the recruitment process.
