Your new company This reputable State Government Department plays a vital role in supporting the community through a range of legal and administrative services. Based in the Adelaide CBD, the team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to provide essential support across a variety of administrative and client-facing tasks
Your new role As a Customer Service Officer, the main component of your role will be answering high volumes of calls and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for:
  • Triaging incoming phone calls and directing enquiries to the appropriate areas.
  • Sorting incoming mail and scanning legal documentation.
  • Accurate data entry, including setting up files and recording activities.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team as required.
  • Attending visits or appointments as a subscribing witness.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a customer service, call centre or reception roles.
  • Experience working within government or legal environments (desirable).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
