Drupal Lead Developer – 3-Month Contract

Remote within Australia

Digital Garden is looking for an experienced 
Drupal Lead Developer
 to join us on a 
3-month Drupal project
. You'll play a key role in delivering a high-profile site, working alongside our project managers, designers, and developers to ensure best practice in backend development, performance, accessibility, and security.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of Drupal backend experience (Drupal 9/10, GovCMS SaaS)
  • Strong PHP (OO) skills and experience with REST/SOAP APIs
  • Git workflows and collaborative development practices
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Behat)
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise Drupal/GovCMS projects
  • Must be an Australian citizen
     (baseline clearance required)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility and digital standards
  • Previous experience leading technical delivery on complex Drupal projects
