About the role

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two calls are the same? We're looking for a confident communicator to join our Collections team - no previous collections experience needed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and monitoring overdue accounts
  • Handling a high volume of outbound and inbound calls daily
  • Negotiating payment terms and arrangements with customers
  • Completing account reconciliations and payment allocations
  • Preparing monthly reports with insights on overdue accounts
  • Working closely with branch teams and customers to resolve queries and ensure smooth account management

About you

We're after a resilient and confident communicator who's passionate about delivering excellent customer service and looking to kickstart their career in accounts receivable. You'll bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to every interaction.

What we're looking for:

  • A background in customer service, retail, call centre or admin (collections experience is a bonus - not a must)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple systems
  • A people person with strong negotiation and influencing ability
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and great at follow-through
