About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our collaborative and supportive team. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing NDIS payment claims and ensuring financial accuracy across our systems. We highly value applicants with experience in the Aged Care or NDIS space, who understand the unique nature of working within a people-centred, service-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume NDIS payment requests via the NDIA portal
- Prepare and issue accurate, timely invoices to NDIS customers and Plan Managers
- Manage invoice cycles and claims in collaboration with managers
- Review debtors and ensure prompt collection of payments
- Enter and maintain new client data in the scheduling system
- Oversee Service Agreements to meet audit requirements
- Create and manage NDIA service bookings in line with agreements and NDIA policies
- Complete bank reconciliations and related reporting
- Support internal meetings (agenda creation, minute-taking, presentations as required)
- Contribute to other finance and administrative tasks as directed
About You
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable
- Highly preferred - Prior experience in the Aged Care, Disability (NDIS) or Not-for-Profit sector
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and financial software (e.g. XERO)
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Strong time management and multitasking capabilities
