Client Service Manager – South Australia

We are a rapidly growing, mid-sized commercial cleaning company with branches in all Australian States and territories.

This key role involves establishing & managing client relationships & cleaning standards of several sites in the state which will make up your portfolio. To manage, supervise, inspect, and maintain the day-to-day cleaning service requirements of the Client and ensure all contract obligations are met in a manner that maintains the safety and well-being of all staff. In addition, the State Operations Manager is charged with identifying and leveraging opportunities to increase revenue.

The main responsibilities of the role will be;

  • Conduct proactive cleaning quality audits daily
  • Visit clients to address concerns, provide quotes for periodic or one-off cleaning, and conduct new client onboarding inductions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and contractors via WhatsApp, ensuring prompt resolution of concerns.
  • Upsell our services and periodical cleaning, earning a generous commission on all new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate cleaning schedules, staffing, and resources to meet client requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Prepare and present reports on account performance, including key metrics and client feedback.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations to continuously improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Client Service Manager or Account Manager in the cleaning industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning processes, equipment, and industry standards.
  • Charismatic, extroverted, and honest personality with excellent customer service skills.
  • Methodical problem-solver with the ability to follow established processes and checklists.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with strong mathematical skills for quoting and estimating cleaning jobs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
