The Opportunity

We are seeking an outstanding Business Development Manager with a proven ability to identify and onboard brand-new clients for our Parts division.

Based in Laverton, this role focuses on strengthening existing customer relationships in the Parts sector while actively identifying new opportunities for growth. You'll play a key role in expanding business by nurturing current partnerships and uncovering fresh avenues for customer engagement.

Your day will involve:

  • Prospect for new clients by networking, advertising, cold calling, and other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences to establish new relationships
  • Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and Parts offered to clients
  • Develop a robust pipeline of sales
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts
  • Screen potential business deals by analysing deal requirements and financials
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, and distribution channels

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Sales role ideally within the trucking industry
  • Excellent business sense, negotiation skills, time management and communication skills
  • Proven experience identifying and onboarding new clients
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient computer skills including strong knowledge of Excel
  • Current Australian Drivers License and own vehicle
