About the job:
In this role, you will be aligning strategic objectives with operational execution to meet evolving organisational business needs. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, foster collaboration across disciplines, and ensure impactful outcomes that support long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of bespoke improvement and transformation projects across Sustainable Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with strategic business needs and measurable outcomes.
- Maintain and manage a prioritised register of continual improvement initiatives, identifying new opportunities and ensuring timely execution in collaboration with sponsors and project leads.
- Develop and implement change management strategies that support organisational priorities, ensuring stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, and successful adoption of change.
- Act as a key contact for change and transformation guidance, building strong relationships across teams and promoting a customer-centred, values-motivated culture.
- Support and mentor a team of improvement specialists, providing coaching and training in world-class process improvement tools and techniques to uplift organisational capability.
- Deliver insightful reporting to leadership on initiative progress, performance outcomes, and opportunities for improvement, while communicating new governance standards across the business.
About the Person
The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative mentor with a strong background inbusiness transformation, process improvement, and change management—particularly within infrastructure, utilities, or complex operational environments. They are passionate about driving innovation and continuous improvement, and skilled at engaging stakeholders across all levels to deliver measurable outcomes. Additional requirements are:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive Consultancy Experience in continual improvement, change, and transformation management processes and systems—ideally within utilities, services, or heavy industries.
- Methodology Expertise, including Change (PROSCI, Lean, Human-Centred Design, Agile), Process (Six Sigma), and Project/Program Management (PMBOK, PRINCE2).
- Demonstrated experience in designing and facilitating workshops and training sessions that engage stakeholders and build capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, navigate ambiguity, and deliver outcomes in complex and dynamic settings.
