Seeking an experienced Practice Manager for a busy solo Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. The role will be based across two practice locations, in East Melbourne and Bundoora. Immediate start available

THE POSITION:

The Practice Manager is the center of a small and focused team and requires a caring and mature individual experienced in multi-tasking.

· Overseeing all patient management and surgical bookings.

·   Liaising with hospitals and clinical team members

·   Quoting fees, managing billing and accounts using Gentu Software

·   Following and updating Office Policies and Procedures

·   Maintaining Office and Practice supplies

·   Providing timely and proactive communication with the surgeon.

Additional duties as directed

JOB TYPE: Full-time (permanent, with a standard 3-month probationary period)

AWARD: Health Professionals and Support Services Award (MA PAY: start 90,000 per year  + super + annual leave negotiable based on experience

HOURS: Monday – Friday.  Patient needs will require some flexibility of commencement and finish times depending on the consulting schedule.

APPLICANT EXPERIENCE

  • Medical Practice Manager experience required
  • Preferred skills: Experience with hospital booking and quoting, medicare and health fund billing (Eclipse). Proficiency with Genie or Gentu using Apple computers.
