The Melbourne Indigenous Professional Employment Program (MIPEP) is an employment initiative designed to meet the needs of the Indigenous Australian community by supporting skill development and providing broad work experience. MIPEP also supplies the workforce with capable, qualified staff and makes a meaningful contribution to the University's Indigenous staff priorities and targets. MIPEP offers two streams: the Melbourne Indigenous Trainee Program (MI - Trainee) and the Melbourne Indigenous Graduate Program (MI - Graduate). Melbourne Indigenous Trainee ship Program (M I - Trainee)
The University of Melbourne invites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander early to mid-career professionals to apply for MI- Trainee , a 24 month culturally safe and professionally enriching program. MI- Trainee provides pathways into professional careers at the University, combining mentorship, cultural immersion, and leadership development.

The University of Melbourne invites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates to apply for the MI-Graduate, a 12-month culturally safe and professionally enriching program.
