About the Role

EBH Environmental Group is seeking a hands-on, highly organised Operations Coordinator to support our Site Manager in running daily operations across our busy recycling and transport facility.

This role is ideal for someone structured, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic operational environment. You'll be the link between site and office, ensuring that schedules, resources, and reporting are executed accurately and on time.

You will also be fully accountable for all office activities — including administration, documentation, purchasing, and coordination tasks that keep the operation running smoothly.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily site operations, workflows, and schedules.
  • Manage rostering, ensuring labour, plant, and equipment are properly allocated.
  • Track and oversee repairs, maintenance, and servicing for all plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers to order parts and materials, confirming deliveries and tracking lead times.
  • Oversee all office administration activities including documentation, purchasing, and data accuracy.
  • Monitor weighbridge activity and reconcile dockets, invoices, and pricing with admin staff daily.
  • Support preparation of monthly Xero reports, EPA stock reports, and material classification documentation.
  • Load and update project and resource schedules in management software.
  • Raise purchase orders and help control operational spending.
  • Manage and replenish inventory, tools, and consumables for site and transport.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Site Manager and stakeholders to review performance and planning.

About You
  • Minimum requirement: Diploma of Business (Operations) — please do not apply without this qualification.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/resource management systems.
  • Strong understanding of office operations, reporting, and process control.
  • Excellent communication skills — confident liaising with drivers, operators, and office teams.
  • Hands-on mindset — willing to step in and help when required.
  • Proven ability to support frontline operations and drive accountability in the field.
