Indigo Junction are seeking an Experienced Manager to oversee our Family and Domestic Violence Services

The key objectives of this position are:

• To implement and maintain quality systems and procedures relating the service operations of the Indigo Junction FDV Services.

• To provide direct client services and to coordinate the delivery of services to clients accessing Indigo Junction FDV Services.

• To foster strategic relationships and networks essential to quality case management and optimal client outcomes - in accordance with organisation Service Agreements.

• To guide, mentor and motivate staff to provide therapeutic practices to all clients in the FDV Services.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

Organisational

• Operate in accordance with Indigo Junction Policies and Procedures Manual.

• Oversee the safe operations of the Indigo Junction FDV Services in accordance with OHS policy, procedures and best practice principles.

• Support the Executive Manager of Service Delivery and Community Impact to ensure accurate documentation of procedures pertaining to the service agreement.

• Operate in accordance with funding contractual requirements.

• Compile detailed reports on service delivery activities to be presented to the Executive Team or possible forwarding to the Board and relevant funding bodies.

• Operate within Indigo Junction's Staff Code of Conduct.

• Provide high level staff management, including rostering, and undertake a supervisory role regarding reporting staff.

• Manage projects and partnerships that align with service outcomes and organisational objectives.

• Develop and implement procedures and maintain quality data collection in accordance with Indigo Junction policy and contract requirements.

• Maintain records to a high standard and support program evaluation, reporting and audit processes as required.

• Contribute to organisational grant applications including basic research and data collection.

• Other duties as directed by the Executive Manager or Chief Executive Officer.

Client Services

• Work within Indigo Junctions Trauma Informed Care Framework Model

• Oversee the implementation of effective and efficient delivery of case management in accordance with Service Agreements and IJ Case Management Framework.

Support planning and direct service provision that includes –

• Client Intake and assessment.

• Development of support plans.

• Practical supports for the effective implementation of the support plan.

• Monitoring and Review of Case Plans.

• Case closure and exit planning.

• Facilitating the provision of programs to meet identified needs and build on the strengths of the client group.

• Foster a collaborative and coordinated approach to ensure seamless service delivery with both internal and external services.

• Reporting and evaluation of the service provided and outcomes for the client.

Community Liaison

• Develop and maintain strategic networks and relationships within the sector relevant to the position.

• Develop and maintain partnerships and collaborative programs to promote quality client and service outcomes.

Selection Criteria

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant human services area and at least 3 years appropriate experience; or demonstrated equivalent.

• Experience in a case management approach with an understanding of professional boundaries in relation to client work.

• High Level staff management, supervision, leadership and organisational skills.

• Sound understanding of the principles of Trauma Informed Care.

• Experience and demonstrated competence in working with people in crisis.

• Knowledge of community and government resources with particular focus on family and child related supports.

• Cultural competency and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience and demonstrated competence in working with people with complex needs and issues.

• Current 'C' class driver's license.

• Current National Police Clearance.

• Working with Children Clearance.

• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
