We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team in a Team Leader role.

This leadership position involves overseeing a group of Residential Youth Workers who provide support to young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

The successful candidate will have experience in community services and/or child, youth & family sectors with strong values-based leadership and workforce planning skills.

They will also possess a demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable people and issues impacting them such as AOD, FDV, Homelessness and Mental Health.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external support services, providing expert advice on complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to referrals from internal and external support services
  • Conduct assessments of suitability for support
  • Provide expert advice on complex and sensitive issues
  • Support staff with day-to-day service operations
  • Deliver person-centred case management
  • Contribute to staff performance discussions
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Experience in leadership within the community services and/or child, youth & family sectors
  • Strong values-based leadership and workforce planning skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable people and related issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
