The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between engineering expertise and customer engagement—providing technical solutions, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Provide technical advice and tailored solutions for customers
- Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and capability statements with a focus on compliance and value creation
- Collaborate with OEM partners and internal engineers to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage key accounts, nurture long-term relationships, and achieve sales targets
- Represent OGT at site visits, industry events, and client meetings across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region
About You
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline) OR proven technical sales experience in oil & gas, energy, or industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of process equipment, fluid handling, or terminal operations
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial value for clients
- Self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
