About the Role

This is a hands-on Sales Administrator position supporting a dynamic sales and operations pod. Working closely with Account Development Managers and Operations, you'll be responsible for the post-sales process; managing quotes, validating purchase orders, coordinating order confirmations, and ensuring accurate system entry across the full sales cycle.

It's a pivotal role that underpins the success of the broader team, helping reduce administrative pressure on the sales function and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate quotes and cross-check purchase orders to ensure all details align (pricing, delivery dates, payment terms, and account details).
  • Convert validated quotes into sales orders, confirm production schedules, and issue order confirmations.
  • Liaise with internal teams to align delivery timelines and ensure order accuracy.
  • Generate work orders and coordinate with production to ensure smooth fulfilment.
  • Maintain meticulous data integrity across quotes, sales orders, POs, and invoices.
  • Support Account Development Managers and Technical Application Specialists with customer follow-ups or clarification requests.
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries in a professional and solutions-focused manner.

About You
You're someone who thrives on structure, precision, and teamwork. You enjoy being the operational backbone that keeps things moving, with an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping customers and colleagues alike.

You'll bring:

  • 1–2 years' experience in a sales support, order processing, or wholesale environment.
  • Strong organisational and data-entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confidence handling inbound customer enquiries (phone and email).
  • Experience with ERP or quoting systems (training provided).
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset - always looking for ways to improve processes and support those around you.
