We are currently seeking an experienced Rostering Officer with strong scheduling abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an opportunity to contribute to a supportive and values-driven team, ensuring consistent care through efficient staff coordination.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the day-to-day business operations, from checking and responding to emails to scheduling staff.
  • Create, maintain, and adjust staff rosters to ensure optimal shift coverage.
  • Liaise with care staff, case managers, and clients to manage shift allocations.
  • Match staff availability and qualifications with client preferences.
  • Coordinate replacements for unplanned leave or absences (sick leave, emergencies).
  • Communicate schedule updates clearly to both staff and clients.
  • Utilise rostering software to maintain accurate staff records, availability, and compliance documentation.
  • Create reports for clients with updates on works needed.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to engage and build relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with outstanding time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A quick thinker, adept at filling last-minute shifts and resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with limited supervision.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop your skills continuously.
  • Proven ability in conflict resolution, particularly between staff availability and client needs.
