Are you passionate about animal care and education? Greenwood Academy (RTO & CRICOS approved) is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Aid / Fill-In Trainer to support the delivery of our nationally recognised Animal Care courses.

About the Role

This role provides vital support to our training team, assisting with student engagement, practical classes, and stepping in as a trainer when required. It's a perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in vocational education while sharing their love of animals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist trainers during practical, classroom sessions and assessment marking
  • Provide student support with learning materials and assessments
  • Facilitate classes as a fill-in trainer when required (with guidance)
  • Ensure compliance with RTO standards and training plans
  • Help maintain safe, professional, and engaging learning environments

About You:

  • Certificate IV or higher in Animal Care/Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Training Qualification and RTO teaching experience (TAE40123 or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about animal welfare and education
  • Reliable, adaptable, and keen to support both trainers and students

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sydney NSW 2000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
