Located in Dandenong South, the Production, Warehouse & Site Operator function will pivot between the Production / Warehouse & Onsite Installation & Maintenance. The production activities are based around the manufacture of precast concrete products. The warehouse activities are preparatory to the onsite installation and maintenance activities. The onsite activities are based around the installation and servicing of a variety of stormwater treatment systems

Key Objectives:

The purpose of the role is to contribute to that efficient operation of Ocean Protect's production, warehouse and onsite activities.

You will need to be energetic, enthusiastic and have a can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction/instruction. Must be looking to grow into a permanent part of the Ocean Protect team.

Role/Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

You will participate in either production, warehouse or onsite duties as determined by the client requirement. Your work location will therefore change as required. You should be prepared to work either onsite or in the factory

Production & Warehouse operations

●     Manufacture of precast concrete products

●     Assembly of our product line

●     Able to use drop saw, bench drill to assist in putting orders together

●     Packing Orders for dispatch. Loading pallets, using pallet wrapping machine

●     Daily use of forklift

●     Loading/unloading of delivery trucks

●     Unloading containers

●     Stocktaking

●     Have some experience working in this area and a decent knowledge of OH&S requirements

On site works

●     Installation of our product line on site, laying out of pipework inside concrete tanks. Working inside concrete pits on site

●     Working inside Stormwater tanks in confined spaces. Comfortable in the use of confined space equipment

●     Concrete pouring experience. Able to read basic layout drawings. Basic pouring/screeding of concrete.

Key skills

●     Comfortable working on own or in a team environment

●     Be able to take direction/instruction

●     Comfortable working on your own initiative

●     Be able to problem solve on site to get the works completed.

●     Capacity to follow basic layout drawings

●     Confine Space Trained. No issues with working in underground tanks in a confined space

●     Forklift Licence

●     White Card (work in building & construction)

●     Full clean Drivers Licence

●     Truck Licence (an advantage)

●     Must have own transport
