About the Role

We are seeking an Experienced Shade Sail Installer to join our growing team. This role involves working on a variety of large-scale commercial and council projects, completing all aspects of installation from set-out and footing works through to steel erection and sail tensioning.

You'll work alongside a capable team of installers and project managers who take pride in delivering quality, compliant installations on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install shade sails, steel posts, and structural components on commercial/council sites
  • Interpret engineering drawings and site layouts
  • Carry out footing and concrete installation
  • Safely erect steelwork and tension shade membranes
  • Liaise with site supervisors and project managers to ensure compliance and quality
  • Maintain high WHS standards and follow all site requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience installing commercial shade structures or similar systems
  • Strong skills in concreting, steel erection, and general construction
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Construction White Card – essential
  • Current Driver's Licence (MR or HR desirable)
  • EWP and Working at Heights certifications – highly regarded
  • Welding or rigging experience advantageous
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position
  • Minimum 1+ years of construction or manual labour experience is required
