Summit Marine Refrigeration is a specialist **marine refrigeration and air conditioning** business servicing **Sydney Harbour, Pittwater, and the east coast of Australia**. Established in 1987, we provide **sales, service, and repairs** for all marine refrigeration and air conditioning products. We are service dealer agents for **Dometic Marine Climate Systems** and work with premium boat manufacturers such as **Caribbean, Lagoon, Riviera, Hanse, and Beneteau**.

**Role Overview**:
We are looking for a **hands-on, mechanically minded** individual with a passion for the **marine industry** to join our team. The role involves installing, servicing, and repairing **marine refrigeration and air conditioning systems** on a variety of vessels, from small leisure boats to luxury yachts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair faults in **marine refrigeration and air conditioning systems**:

- Install and commission **new refrigeration and air conditioning units**:

- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades
- Work on **DC and AC electrical systems, refrigeration circuits, and mechanical components**:

- Read and interpret **technical drawings and schematics**:

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and safety

**What We’re Looking For**:
A passion for the **marine industry** (boating, sailing, or marine mechanics)
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn - **no prior marine experience needed, training provided**
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong customer service skills
A current **driver’s license**
Experience in **refrigeration, air conditioning, electrical work, or general mechanical trades** is a plus
**Marine experience is a bonus but not required**
Open to **apprentices (both young and mature-age)** looking to complete a trade qualification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $54,871.49 - $150,521.52 per year

Expected hours: 38 per week
