Senior Student and Academic Services Officer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Student and Academic Services Officer to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing various administrative processes throughout the student life-cycle, including handling student enquiries, managing the learning management system, processing results, and implementing assessments. You will ensure timely and efficient service delivery, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance the quality and accessibility of information and advice provided to students and staff. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the Faculty and University and work closely with the Manager and Coordinator of Student and Academic Services to deliver exceptional support to students and academics.

As the successful candidate, you will possess excellent administration skills with a demonstrated capacity to develop and implement effective operational processes and systems. You will have excellent organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time, and plan work to meet deadlines. A strong commitment to excellence in customer service and a hands-on approach to service provision is essential. You will demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member while exercising high levels of independence, judgement, and initiative. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with highly-developed written and verbal communication abilities, are also required, including the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.
