About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Student Retention and Academic Integrity Officer to contribute to impactful outcomes in the Educational Excellence department. You'll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational services aligned with Melbourne Polytechnic's values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement retention plans and frameworks
  • Run and monitor the Targeted Outreach Program (TOP)
  • Review and develop academic integrity policies and procedures
  • Investigate suspected academic misconduct cases
  • Analyse data and prepare reports for committees
  • Support compliance with TEQSA, ASQA, and regulatory frameworks
Skills and Experience Required
  • Relevant bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience
  • Experience in student retention strategies and academic integrity management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying policies and procedures
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
