About the role
We are seeking an experienced Client Service Co-ordinator to join our team at Arli Homes in Port Melbourne. This full-time role will see you helping people experience the lifestyle benefits of living in well-designed spaces by taking them from initial deposit to contract signing. The role will be across the three brands of the business including Arli Homes, Lumi Homes and Nido Homes.
You will be required to assist clients with all change requests, assess suitability of plans, ensure all documentation is water tight and create a seamless experience for our clients as they get ready for the commencement of construction, and whilst they are on site. The Client Service Co-Ordinator is to bridge the gap between the processes of what we can deliver and the client's expectations.
What you'll be doing
- Assist sales team by researching information about client's land and providing information for the accurate estimating of site costs
- Reviewing the client's file including estimate, land information, special requests
- Liaising with the sales team for information about the client
- Ordering working drawings and consultant reports, council and authority information, titles etc…
- Working with the client on any variation requests
- Liaising with estimating to price variations
- Liaising with drafting to have plans changed
- Assessing the plans for suitability – practicality, regulations, developer requirements etc…
- Preparing the specifications and job file ready for selection meeting
- Reviewing client's selections and electrical design
- Preparing the new home contract for signing
- Submitting plans to developers for approval or council approval
- Assisting the client with post contract variations and ensuring all relevant stakeholders are advised and aware
- Briefing the Site Manager on all the special requirements for each project
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and filed ready for construction
- Assisting with permits
- Obtain asset protection permit and PIC application
- Order gas and electricity, prepare account handover to client
- Administer the client during construction, answer questions, provide updates, obtain survey/performance results
- Assist the site manager and estimator with any questions or concerns
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a similar project coordination or administrative support role, ideally within the construction or property development industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in the use of project management software, MS Office and other relevant business tools
- A collaborative and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
- Positive attitudes and behaviours and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
