Orange College delivers Vocational Education Training courses at various Australian Qualification Framework levels. As part of their strategic plan, they are looking to appoint a highly capable Admissions Officer/Co-Ordinator to support their Marketing team at Melbourne CBD.
The Admissions Officer/Co-Ordinator is responsible for Administration of, issuing CoEs, corresponding to students, marketing team and agents in relation to CoEs, enrolments offers, in timely manner as outlined in the ESOS Act and National Code 2007.
This position reports to the Marketing Co-Ordinator/Manager.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Data processing, including enrolling and transferring applicants, retaining and updating participant details on our student management system
- High level of client service as you’re the first point of contact for all course admissions and enquiries
- Maintaining RTO's online enrolment system
- Providing additional administrative support as required.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of Department of Home Affairs (DHA) country specific financial requirements;
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of the institute’s and its partner university’s GTE criteria;
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of student visa requirements;
- Ensuring that all offshore students meet country specific GTE requirements, which includes verifying their academic and financial documents;
- Follow up required documentation that is linked to the admissions process.
- Provide an exceptional service experience through outstanding communication and engagement skills
- Interviewing offshore students when required.
- Previous experience working with in an RTO is desired
- Experience working with learner management system and PRISMS desired
- High level of administration and clerical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Practical and takes initiative
- Works well in a team
- High level of professionalism
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
