We are seeking a passionate and professional Medical Receptionist in the daily administrative functions of a busy medical practice. You will be working within an exceptional team, led by a supportive Practice Manager. The right candidate will have a flexible approach, well-developed IT skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a calm and professional manner.

This role will require you to perform general reception duties including but not limited to:

  • Previous general medical practice service and experience would be beneficial but will train a suitable candidate
  • Appointment management using Best Practice PMS
  • Patient interaction, billing, and receipting with a high attention to detail
  • Incoming phone calls and enquiries
  • Liaising with GP's and other health professionals
  • Opening and closing the practice and ad-hoc roles throughout the day consistent with administrative tasks
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times
  • Be able to work independently and as part of our supportive team.

This position can be FT, PPT or casual depending on the candidate and suitability, with rostering to be opening/closing of the clinics with Saturday shifts included in a rotating roster.

Salary will be in accordance with the Health Professional and Support Services Award 2024 based on qualifications, skills and experience.
