Are you a warm, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a difference in people's lives? Pasadena Medical is seeking a Casual Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team for approximately 15-25 hours per week.

Located in the vibrant Pasadena Shopping Centre, our clinic is home to a collaborative mix of General Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals, supported by a strong nursing and administrative team. We're looking for someone who is confident using technology, quick to learn new systems, and comfortable navigating digital tools in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Opening the clinic and preparing for patient arrivals
  • Managing appointments via phone and in-person using our computer system
  • Welcoming patients and coordinating with doctors
  • Handling phone enquiries, account queries, and prescription requests
  • Processing payments and billing
  • Supporting doctors with administrative tasks
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, scanning documents, and filing
  • Coordinating pathology collections and following up on results
  • Performing banking, shopping for staff amenities, and posting mail
  • Keeping the waiting area tidy and assisting with general office duties

What You'll Need:

  • A genuine "people person" attitude with a warm and approachable manner
  • A current Working with Children Clearance from the Department of Human Services
  • Up-to-date CPR certification
  • Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare setting is highly regarded but not essential
