We are seeking an experienced Accounts Support Officer to join our team at InFocus Radiology. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with strong medical administration accounts experience, including workers compensation accounts processes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will provide vital support across a range of accounts and administrative functions. Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders will ensure the smooth running of financial processes within our organisation.

This role is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week), based at Wallsend.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accounts Manager with invoicing and remittances across Medicare, AMA, Hospital, Private, and DVA accounts.
  • Support credit control, debt collection, and financial record-keeping.
  • Stay up to date with Medicare legislation and practices to ensure compliance.
  • Process workers compensation claims payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and monitor outstanding accounts, recommending actions in line with company credit policies.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key contacts and stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven medical administration accounts experience, ideally within medical imaging or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of workers compensation accounts processes.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and other medical billing systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, accuracy and continuous improvement.
