We have a fantastic newly created opportunity for an experienced Project Co-ordinator to join our Cartons Australia business on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Based in Sydney and reporting into the General Manager Operations & Projects ANZ, this role will coordinate multiple project workstreams for the establishment of a greenfield manufacturing site in Sydney.

This role will play a pivotal role in supporting effective project management of timelines, budgets, technical and compliance works. You will work with multiple cross functional stakeholders across the Opal business helping to coordinate equipment installations and external contractors and suppliers during onsite removals and installations.

Key to success in this role will be:


• Successfully coordinating business critical project works to compressed timelines


• Working with cross functional teams to keep a track on project streams and timelines


• Holding external contractors to account to meet desired cost, quality, and time constraints


• Building engagement and ownership with site teams


• An unwavering commitment to a positive safety culture at all times

Specifically, for this role, we expect you will have;


• Some experience in a project based role, ideally within manufacturing


• A successful track record of planning, co-ordinating and managing multiple project workstreams, tasks, and activities within a high-pressured and time sensitive work environment


• A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and engineering / maintenance experience within manufacturing


• A strong results orientation


• Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organisation (internally & externally)
