Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Diraq Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description
At Diraq, we're engineering the future of quantum computing—scaling millions of qubits on a single chip using silicon CMOS. If you thrive on solving complex problems, navigating ambiguity, and growing your career in a fast-paced startup, this is your launchpad.

We're looking for a confident and adaptable Project Coordinator to join our team. You'll help drive delivery across multiple complex IT and engineering projects, working closely with technical teams to keep things moving, aligned, and on track.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple years of experience in project coordination who's excited by quantum computing, enjoys working across disciplines, and wants to grow into a leadership role over time.

Job Requirements

  • You have 3–5 years of experience coordinating complex IT or technical projects—ideally across multiple teams or disciplines.
  • You're comfortable in highly technical environments and enthusiastic to learn more.
  • You're confident, proactive, and not afraid to chase down answers or follow up to keep things moving.
  • You're adaptable—able to pivot quickly and tailor your approach to different teams and project needs.
  • You're structured in your communication and know when to escalate.
  • You're excited by quantum computing and want to grow your career in a cutting-edge startup.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects across IT, engineering, and research teams.
  • Build and maintain project plans using Agile and other methodologies, anticipating scheduling conflicts and proposing adjustments.
  • Track technical deliverables and ensure alignment with broader project goals.
  • Flag risks and issues early, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate when needed.
  • Foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders—engineering, research, business—ensuring all voices are heard.
  • Spot emerging risks in shifting priorities and suggest practical workarounds.
  • Confidently follow up with stakeholders to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Help build lightweight processes and structure in a fast-evolving environment.

Job Benefits

  • Work with world-class scientists and engineers on some of the most ambitious technical challenges of our time.
  • Be part of a small, high-impact team where your contributions are visible and valued.
  • Gorgeous central Sydney CBD office.
  • Paid time off to volunteer for a cause you care about.
  • You'll join a multicultural team in a fast-paced startup, where collaboration and curiosity drive innovation.
