As the Manager of Client Services, you'll work with the COO and alongside Operations Managers to bring the separate Cleaning and Laundry clients together into one focused business. Strengthening existing partnerships and creating new relationships, you'll lead business development initiatives, enhance logistics, nurture change and shape the impact of an evolving culture.

This is an organisation with a lot of history, tradition and strongly held beliefs. Clearly, you will need to come in with an open mind and - using your past experience as a yardstick - first take time to see what is and where things stand.

Once you've reviewed the market, established where the laundry and cleaning businesses sit, and where they want to be, identified the gaps, opportunities and competition, you will be able to turn your attention to introducing contemporary thinking across the business. And start the satisfying work of bringing partners, all people and their beautiful caring culture gently – very gently - along with it

Relationship driven, solutions focused and values led, this is not your standard BD role

Even so, you will need experience, great communications, instinctive leadership and conflict resolution skills and some understanding of inclusive employment, social enterprise and/or NDIS supported workplaces. While many aspects of current operations are sophisticated - like the CRM systems, (Linenweb, Lighthouse and ZOHO), AI tools like Basecamp and financial modelling - others are timeworn and will need your innovative attention.

So, your experience in NFP, social enterprise, purpose-driven business models, commercial laundry or cleaning industry environments and familiarity with service delivery logistics will be valuable.

As you grow and strengthen both external and internal relationships while managing logistics in various forms, your inter-personal skills will be developed. And you can expect to do a lot of active listening, with diplomacy, respect, integrity and care lighting up every day. Ultimately this big, busy role is about making everyone feel part of something big and meaningful
