McConnell & Saldumbide Criminal Lawyers is a boutique firm (est focused on the defence of individuals in criminal, regulatory and traffic matters across Queensland. We also act in domestic violence applications, blue card submissions, firearms licensing appeals and sporting tribunal matters. Our work is high-stakes, client-centered and discreet.

The role

We're seeking a Receptionist to be the firm's first impression. You will work closely with our Directors and an experienced admin team, with mentorship and daily exposure to serious litigation.

We are seeking someone who is:

In a boutique practice that prides itself on exceptional service, you'll adapt your communication style to meet the needs of a diverse client base and support lawyers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the telephone switchboard: handle new enquiries and provide helpful first contact;
  • Deliver thoughtful client hospitality: greet clients and ensure comfort before appointments;
  • Coordinate diaries and schedule appointments for legal staff;
  • Prepare and reset meeting rooms to a high standard;
  • Run external errands when required;
  • Order and maintain office supplies;
  • Perform scanning, photocopying and general administrative tasks;
  • Assist with client engagement processes, including file openings and closures;
  • Provide proactive support to the wider team as needed.

Salary

Competitive and commensurate with experience.
