About the Role – Lead Educator, Nursery Room (6 weeks to 2 years):

As the Nursery Room Lead, you will:

  • Create a safe, responsive, and nurturing environment for our youngest children

  • Design and implement a developmentally appropriate program based on individual routines, emerging interests, and strong attachments

  • Build trusting relationships with babies, families, and your team

  • Foster early learning through play, exploration, and connection

  • Be a calm, confident leader and mentor within your room team

Role Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

  • Current Blue Card and National Police Check

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 2 years)

  • A solid understanding of infant development and the importance of responsive caregiving

  • Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

  • Previous experience as a Lead Educator (particularly with nursery-aged children) is highly regarded
