DNX Solutions is an award-winning AWS Premier Partner helping organizations achieve seamless, scalable, and secure cloud operations. We're looking for a mid-level Compliance & Security Specialist to join our growing security practice team.
Position Overview
We seek a mid-level Compliance Specialist with knowledge of AWS security to assist in client engagements and internal projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for cloud security, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support internal pre-audits and compliance assessments for clients pursuing ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.
- Help configure and optimize compliance automation tools like Vanta to streamline client program.
- Assist in developing compliance documentation, including policies and system descriptions
- Support gap analysis activities and help create remediation plans
- Participate in client workshops and training sessions
- Help prepare clients for external audits with firms like AssuranceLab
- Assist in scoping compliance programs for cloud-native and SaaS organizations
- Support multi-framework control mapping efforts
- Help maintain client relationships through regular check-ins and status updates
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable with compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, IRAP, CPS 234, PCI DSS, CDR and others
- Strong interest in cloud security and compliance
- Basic understanding of AWS services and security concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and compliance standards
- Must be comfortable discussing compliance aspects with key stakeholders in client companies, especially executives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Familiarity with additional frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Basic understanding of infrastructure as code
- Experience in consulting or professional services
