Are you a natural connector who's passionate about people, not pushy sales? Nexus Care Services is on the lookout for a Growth and Engagement Lead to grow our impact across South East Queensland.

You'll be the face of our mission, building real relationships, creating meaningful outreach programs, and helping families access the support they deserve. Reporting directly to our CEO, you'll have the freedom to bring big ideas to life and shape how we show up in the community. What You'll Be Doing

  • Grow participant numbers by building strong referral networks and targeted outreach.
  • Drive revenue growth through smart, sustainable development strategies.
  • Dream up and deliver creative community outreach programs that spark real connection and strengthen brand presence and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral points, including support coordinators, families, plan managers, health providers, and community groups, to effectively build and expand Nexus' client referral network.
  • Design marketing campaigns and social media content that feels human, not corporate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, listen to community feedback, and use it to guide service growth while ensuring messaging aligns with our values.
  • Report directly to our CEO with insight, not fluff. Your voice will shape where we go next.

About You

  • You have 3+ years of proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, business development, or partnerships, ideally within NDIS, human services, or a related purpose- driven sector, with a track record of driving growth.
  • You bring energy, empathy, and know how to build trust quickly.
  • You're great with people and equally strong on strategy.
  • You're able to balance commercial outcomes with community impact.
  • You have a passion for inclusion, empowerment, and making a real difference.
  • You have a flair for social media and marketing, with skills you're eager to grow
  • Experience in NDIS, child safety, aged care, or allied health would be advantageous and prioritized.
  • A degree in Business, Community Development, Human Services, Marketing, or similar is ideal.
  • You've got (or can get) a Blue Card, Yellow Card, and driver's license.
