At Safetylyne, we design, deliver, and maintain height safety and access systems for Australia's leading builders, engineers, and asset owners. With 25+ years of innovation and trust behind us, we're known for quiet excellence and problem-solving where others stall.
We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Operations Administrator to join our team — someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity, supports the team behind the scenes, and helps ensure every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role
As a Operations Administrator, you'll be the key link between project teams, documentation, systems, and client communications. You'll provide admin and coordination support across multiple projects — helping ensure that site work, internal processes, and client requirements stay aligned and on track.
This role suits someone who enjoys supporting others, managing details, and creating clarity in fast-moving environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support Operations Manager, Project Managers and Production team with scheduling, reporting, and daily operations
- Assist in preparing and managing project documentation (e.g. SWMS, compliance packs, handover files)
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure delivery schedules, procurement, and site access requirements are tracked and met
- Maintain accurate records, project scheduling and documentation in Asana (our project management tool)
- Communicate with clients and contractors for status updates, documentation requests, and scheduling confirmations. Including client portals such as Aconex and Procore.
- Help ensure projects stay compliant, well-documented, and ready for audit or handover
What You'll Bring
Skills & Experience:
- 2–5 years' experience in administration, project support, or construction coordination
- Strong organisational and time management skills — you're the one who keeps things on track
- Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and job management systems (Asana, Buildertrend, or similar a bonus)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Experience in construction, engineering, or facilities-based industries is preferred
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
Personal Attributes (The Safetylyne Way):
- Integrity: You do what you say you will — and follow through
- Service: You support the team and the client with purpose and clarity
- Authenticity: You care about the quality of the systems we build
- Trust: You're reliable and present, especially when timelines are tight
- Legacy: You help build systems that are clean, compliant, and long-lasting
- Resilience: You step up, stay calm, and solve admin challenges before they escalate
Why Join Safetylyne?
- A respected, values-led team with a 25-year legacy of trust and innovation
- A collaborative environment where your work is appreciated and impactful
- Career development pathways into project coordination or operations
- A chance to contribute to real-world projects that protect lives and support Australia's built environment
- Work with people who genuinely care about the outcome — and about each other
