Your Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a hands-on, practical Manufacturing Planner & Scheduler to join our team based in our factory in Baywater, Victoria.

The focus of this role will be creating and maintaining production plans & schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and collaborating with various departments to meet production targets.

This fast-paced role will suit a person who has a Customer mindset and can think on their feet in a highly analytical way.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

The successful applicant will be responsible for production/manufacturing planning and scheduling, which involves:

Analyse demand forecasts, inventory levels, raw material availability and production capacity to make informed production decisions.

Creation of production plans and schedules in response to rapidly changing circumstances.

Prioritization of job orders for production optimisation to achieve Customer demands.

Monitor and adjust production plans and schedules in response to rapidly changing circumstances.

Collaborate with the Production team to ensure work orders are executed according to the plan and schedule.

Track and reconcile stock, providing SOH and reconciliation reports.

Maintain and update the Work Breakdown Structures and Cost Breakdown Structures.

Work closely with the finance team in rectifying cost variances related to raw material and efficiency-related variances.

Identify potential disruptions or delays early, from supply gaps to production bottlenecks.

Communicate risks clearly and lead cross-functional mitigation planning.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

3–5 years' experience in production scheduling and planning in manufacturing.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Intermediate-level SAP experience is needed for effective system utilisation and process management in this role.

ERP system experience is also required, with any major ERP platform being acceptable if SAP experience is not available.

Any valid Australian work rights, are required for this position.

Strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills with excellent time management.
