About The Role
As our
HR Business Partner
, you'll lead and support the HR function across our
Brisbane and Sydney sites
, partnering with leaders to enhance the employee experience and deliver strategic, people-focused solutions.

Based
on site in Brisbane
, you'll be closely connected to our teams and operations, with
regular travel to Sydney
to build relationships and ensure alignment across both sites. Reporting to the HR Director – Australia & New Zealand, you'll play a key role in driving engagement, effective HR practices, and initiatives that help our people and business thrive.

Duties include

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent development, and change management initiatives.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and practical HR advice and support to people managers.
• Lead onboarding programs that create a best-in-class experience for new employees.
• Drive employee engagement and strengthen communication channels across both sites.
• Reinforce MCC's values-based culture through consistent policies, practices, and leadership coaching.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency and impact.
• Support recruitment and talent initiatives as required.
• Contribute to HR planning and strategic projects at both local and regional levels.

About You

• Strong generalist HR background, with sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Brisbane and Sydney to provide on-site HR support.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with leaders and stakeholders.
• Expertise in organisational development, employee engagement, and cultural transformation.
• Solid experience in industrial relations and change management.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands effectively.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce advantageous).
• Enjoys being on site and part of the daily team energy.
