Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders across Advanced One to Analyse current practices, define system‐based business requirements, and support the deployment of functional solutions that enhance productivity, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with end‐users and management to formulate and document business requirements.
  • Analyse business processes, work practices, procedures, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend optimal business practices and define system functionality and behaviour to align with organisational goals (particularly in service delivery, project management, operational support).
  • Plan projects using recognised project management methodologies: define scope, resourcing, costing, scheduling and manage delivery.
  • Develop, adopt and execute system test plans to ensure acceptable quality and integrity of software and process solutions.
  • Produce user‐facing and training documentation; conduct formal training sessions for staff.
  • Create functional specifications and clearly define system requirements for developers.
  • Utilise data modelling and process modelling techniques to map out system designs and improvements.
  • Act as a central reference and support point in decision‐making during system projects.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or similar (or extensive equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years' proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, ideally in a trades, service delivery, or technical operations environment.
  • Strong ability in documenting requirements, developing functional specifications, data and process modelling.
  • Experience with system testing, user training, and deployment of functional solutions.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles; ability to prepare project plans, allocate and manage resources and costs.
  • Excellent communication skills—capable of interacting with technical teams, field staff, and management.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to work independently and proactively.
