Digital Account Director

A global eCommerce Consultancy/Agency is currently looking for a Digital Account Director to lead a handful of clients out of Melbourne, mainly across Paid Search, Social Media & SEO services.
This is an amazing opportunity to work with some very recognisable eCommerce brands
Please note this role is not leading a team, but you may have a chance to hire a junior in the near future.
What you will be doing:

Client Leadership
: Act as the main point of contact for selected Tier 1 and 2 clients across
SEO, SEM, Social and CRM, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
●
Cross-Functional Collaboration
: Work as an expert across all channel teams, overseeing and
coordinating client deliverables, ensuring excellence in execution and communication.
●
Thought Leadership
: Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring a
forward-thinking approach to digital marketing and ecommerce.
●
Account Growth & Retention
: Build trust with senior client stakeholders, develop long-term
relationships, and ensure account renewals are planned with a focus on growth.
●
Commercial & Operational Excellence
: Manage client budgets, forecasts, and contribution
margins, identifying efficiencies to drive profitability.
●
Channel Operations & Insights
: Be hands-on within platforms such as Facebook Business
Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics, reviewing performance data and supporting the
channel teams with strategic recommendations (the channel teams will be doing the day-to-day campaign activations).
We require:
● 3-6 years of account management experience.
● Expertise in SEO, PPC, and Social Media Advertising (at least two of the three).
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into actionable insights.
● Proven experience project managing multi-channel digital teams.
● Confident communicator with experience in pitching & presenting.
